Building on its successful experience from the Taipei Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project, Glory Technology has used Taipei City as a testbed for innovation, research, and commercial service development. 2. Glory Technology leverages an innovative business model to replicate its successful experience in metro and high-speed rail communication systems in Taiwan. The company has participated in railway projects in Thailand and obtained recognition from the Thai SRT as a certified rail communication system integrator, leading Taiwanese companies in bringing MIT (Made in Taiwan) products and technologies to international markets. The key highlights of Glory Technology’s international projects include:

SIPA facilitated Glory Technology’s successful application of rail communication technology to Thailand. Through the SIPA platform and Taiwan–Thailand matchmaking activities, SIPA assisted Glory Technology in connecting with local stakeholders to explore potential local projects. Moreover, the company’s achievements and international publicity from the SRT Bangkok Red Line Phase 1 project helped pave the way for the signing of the Phase 2 contract. The Red Line Phase 1 was completed and began trial operations in November 2020, with full-line operations scheduled for 2021. The total project value was approximately NT$3.75 billion. The SRT Bangkok Red Line Phase 2 is expected to be contracted in 2025, while Glory Technology is seeking to continue collaborating with CTCI and Alstom in bidding for the 2021 Bangkok MRT Orange Line project.
